A creature mesh that I've been working on over the last 2 weeks, and the first of (hopefully) a full series of characters based off of the Fear Mythos universe of creepypasta (in this case, The Slenderman).
Polycount: 15k (not including the base)
Textures: 2 1024 x 1024 texture maps (Base Color, Roughness, Ambient Occlusion, Normals, Metalness)
The overall goal was to create something that would look at-home in the woods, and could believably stalk prey while being difficult to spot. The wooden accents served to enhance the silhouette of the character and provide visual contrast, while also being functional as both armor and camouflage.
The tentacles are intended to be visually-similar to centipedes, with a hard, segmented carapace protecting a fleshy undercarriage.
A slight coating of moss helps to provide both additional camouflage, while highlighting that this is a creature of the forest.
