I needed some maps for a circus-themed D&D campaign I'm running, which the sourcebook unfortunately did not have - so, I took it as an opportunity for some 3d environment work.
The workflow was definitely different from making environments for use in a game engine - since the final deliverables were just the rendered images, retopology and optimization wasn't as high on the list of priorities as turnaround speed.
I am a fan of Tabletop RPGs - I enjoy being a player character, but I also adore running campaigns as the DM/GM.
I take a lot of pride in making custom tokens and character art, and leveraging my abilities as an artist to try to deliver the best product possible (it's perhaps not that much different a mindset from approaching client or project work).
